Okuva nga 25 Omwezi ogusooka 2022 okutuuka nga 8 Omwezi ogwokubiri 2022, yasindikibwa ku mirimu mu South Sudan, ng’omubaka ow’enjawulo . [2] Kyokka omulimu guno gwakyusibwa era mu kifo ky'omulimu ogwo n’alondebwa okuba Chief of Joint Staff mu kitongole kya poliisi ya Uganda. [3]

Kandiho yasigalawo ng'omumyuka w'omudduumizi. [10]

Mu 2009, ku ddaala lya meeja (Major) Kandiho yali muserikale ku kitongole ky'amagye ekikkessi (CMI). [11] Mu 2019, olupapula lw'amawulire olwa The Independent (Uganda) lwategeeza nti Kandiho yakolera ku kitebe kya Uganda mu Kigali Rwanda, ku ntandikwa y’emyaka gya 2000, gye yalina obutakkaanya n’ebitongole bya Rwanda eby'ebyokwerinda [12]

Mu mwezi gwekkumineebiri 2021, Abel Kandiho, asongeddwamu olunwe envumbo za Amerika Ekitongole ky'eggwanika lya Amerika bwe kyalangirira kye kyalangirira. Eby’obugagga bya Abel Kandiho mu Amerika kati byassibwako envumbo. Ekikaayanirwa: ebigambibwa nti yeenyigira mu misango gy’okutyoboola eddembe ly’obuntu. [13] [14]

Mu ogusooka 2022, yasikizibwa Meeja Generali James Birungi n’afuuka akulira ekitongole ekikessi mu magye mu UPDF . Kandiho yaweebwa emirimu egyenjawulo mu South Sudan. [2]
