I am asking because the WMF Language team wants to introduce a Machine translation service support to some Wikipedias. We want to know if the translations are useful as a start(of course, this initial machine translation is not to be published, they are to help a translator speed up the work) when using content translation.

Since you have experience translating articles to Luganda Wikipedia, I believe you are the right person to evaluate the translations in the spreadsheet.

I will really appreciate your help with evaluating the translation. If you are okay assisting with the quality check; all you need to do is open this spreadsheet, try to read the article samples in the two different columns and then answer the following questions for each article:

• Is any sample useful as a starting point for translation? (A/B/both/none)
• If any sample is not useful, which is the main problem with it?

Please note that you can answer these questions in the spreadsheet (in the column provided) or answer the questions in this thread; whichever works for you is fine.
